The 2016 season of FIA MotoGP has been successful for the Honda's racing outfit Repsol Honda (HRC). The team has won constructor's championship title for the season and its rider Marc Marquez has become world champion. Celebrating success in the sport, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) introduced limited edition version for its CBR250R christened as Repsol Honda Racing Replica.
The CBR250R Repsol Racing Replica edition is open for booking at Honda exclusive authorized dealerships across India while the price has not been announced yet. The limited edition features Team HRC's signature livery. It is available in two different versions - Marc Marquez 93 and Dani Pedrosa 26, name of both riders of HRC.
Apart from the new livery, the limited edition is identical to the regular CBR250R. The motorcycle is powered by a 249cc liquid cooled, 4-Stroke, SI engine that develops 26.15bhp of power at 8500rpm and 22.9Nm of torque at 7000rpm mated to six speed transmission.
"After witnessing the exemplary performance and success of Repsol Honda Team at the 2016 MotoGP season, we wanted to offer customers and racing enthusiasts, a unique experience of owning their very own Repsol Racing Replica motorcycle. We have adopted Team Repsol Honda paint and graphic scheme directly inspired by the legendary RC213V including the numbers of our star riders, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa," said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president, sales and marketing at HMSI.
This is not the first time Honda coming up with team HRC livery in CBR250R. The Repsol Honda edition of the CBR250R was on sale way back in 2013.
