Actress Samvrutha Sunil, who made her acting debut opposite Dileep in Lal Jose's 2004 film "Rasikan", is an artist who is still loved by many Keralites, despite her staying away from the industry for three years.
The actress celebrates her 29th birthday on Saturday, 31 October.
In an acting career spanning eight years, Samvrutha has never gone glamorous for any of her roles, keeping up the image of girl next door.
She has acted with the leading stars of the industry like Mohanlal, Mammootty (supporting roles), Dileep, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, Jayasurya, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali, among others.
Even though she acted in many films after "Rasikan", it was the multi-starrer Shafi film "Chocolate" (2007) that helped her to make a mark in the industry through her role as Nandana with Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Roma and Remya Nambeeshan.
Some of her other notable films include "Thirakkadha", " Ivar Vivahitharayal", "Cocktail", "Manikiakkalu", "Swapna Sanchari", "Mallu Singh", "Diamond Necklace" and "Ayaalum Njanum Thammil".
She was last seen on screen opposite Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban in Shafi's 2012 film "101 Wedding", which was released after her marriage.
Married to US-based engineer Akhil Jayraj, Samvrutha celebrates her third wedding anniversary on Sunday, 1 November. The couple was blessed with a baby boy Agasthya on 21 February, 2015.
Meanwhile, recently, there were rumours that the couple was planning to get divorced; the actress came forward slamming the rumours.
"To everyone who might be concerned about my marital status, I am happily married and leading a peaceful life by God's grace. I have a 5 month old baby who is keeping me very busy and I barely have the time to even post this message," Samvrutha posted on her Facebook page.
After reaching Kerala to celebrate Onam, an interview of the actress with her family was published in a leading Malayalam entertainment magazine, in which she said how much she was enjoying her married life and now, motherhood.
