Director Praveen Sattaru's Telugu movie "Guntur Talkies," starring Rashmi Gautam, Shraddha Das, Naresh and Siddu Jonnalagadda, has received mixed reviews from the audience.

"Guntur Talkies" is a romantic comedy entertainer, which is high on erotic quotient. Hari (Sidhu) is a 25-year-old guy, who is allegedly in a relationship with a neighbour. Giri (Naresh) is a 40-year-old married man, whose wife elopes with a business man. Both Hari and Giri work at a medical shop in Guntur. One day, they rob huge amount of money and run away to remote cities. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Praveen Sattaru has written an interesting story, which has not been explored on Tollywood. The audience is impressed with his crisp screenplay and situational dialogues. But not many film goers are happy with the adult element. The director keeps the viewers engaged with some adult comedy scenes in the first half. The story gathers momentum before the interval and the second half is engrossing.

Naresh, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Rashmi Gautam and Shraddha Das have delivered good performances, which are the highlights of "Guntur Talkies". The movie has decent production elements and Sri Charan Pakala's music, Ram Reddy's cinematography and Dharmendra Kakarala's editing are the big attractions in the technical front, say the audience.
