The 60th Idea Filmfare Awards 2013 (South) is all set to be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on 20 July, 2013.
The awards will be given in 10 categories and in all South Indian languages films - Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
During a press conference held in Hyderabad on Thursday, Filmfare editor Jitesh Pillai said, "The awards this year had great significance as the 60th edition of the awards is coinciding with 100 years of Indian cinema."
Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who graced the press conference, told reporters, "I would like to take risks and take up roles though I may not be sure if they will succeed at the box-office. Filmfare has always recognized true talent and artistes get the push they need when they are recognized."
Earlier in June, actress Tamannaah attended the press conference of the 60th filmfare awards held in Chennai. The gorgeous actress unveiled the black lady at the event.
