Eros International, one of the India's leading production and distribution houses, has made an official announcement about the release of Pawan Kalyan's "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" in Hindi.
Eros International has co-produced "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" with Pawan Kalyan Creative Works and Northstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Eros' top bosses took to its official Twitter handle to announce about the Hindi version of the much-hyped Telugu movie starring Pawan Kalyan and Kajal Aggarwal.
They posted a photo of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" and confirmed its release in Hindi. They tweeted: "2016's most exciting Telugu action movie #SardaarGabbarSingh will be out in Hindi soon! @PawanKalyan @ErosNowSouth [sic]." They added: "Aa raha hai #SardaarGabbarSingh 8th April ko! @PawanKalyan @ErosNowSouth [sic]."
Bollywood trade analysts say the Hindi version of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" will be released with the original. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#SardaarGabbarSingh to release in Hindi across India on 8 April 2016. Stars Pawan Kalyan. Here's the poster: [sic]." Komal Nahta â€tweeted: "Eros, Pawan Kalyan Creative Works & Northstar Entertainment's Sardaar Gabbar Singh starring Pawan Kalyan to release in Hindi on 8th April [sic]."
It was initially reported that Pawan Kalyan would produce "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" jointly with his friend Sharrath Marar. It was also rumoured that Eros International had bagged its global theatrical rights for a whopping price and sold the area-wise rights to local distributors. Later, reports said Eros is also part of the film's production team.
Ever since then, speculations about the Hindi version of "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" started doing the rounds. Bollywood critics Anupama Chopra's interview with Pawan Kalyan further fuelled these rumours. "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" is the sequel of the 2012's hit action comedy film "Gabbar Singh," which was a remake of Salman Khan's "Dabangg". Besides production and acting, Pawan Kalyan has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie, which has Bobby aka KS Ravindra's direction, Devi Sri Prasad's music and Arthur A Wilson's cinematography.
