Viewers of Star Plus' "Diya Aur Baati Hum" are currently being treated to a whole lot of new developments. First there was the Indo-Pakistan plotline, and then the return of Maa Sa (Ragini Shah) to Pushkar. This was followed by television actors Abhinav Shukla, Supriya Kumari and Priyanka Singh entering the show as Maa Saa's grandchildren.
Now in a fresh addition, the team of "Diya Aur Baati Hum" will reportedly be joined by another glamorous face soon. Pooja Sharma, who charmed viewers with the role of Vaishali in "Tu Mera Hero," will enter the show as Om's (Abhinav) wife Purvi. "Pooja will play the role of Purvi, Om's wife (Abhinav), who is supposed to be dead as per the plot," a source told Tellychakkar.com.
However, the actress said nothing has been confirmed. "Talks are on, but nothing is finalised at the moment," Sharma said.
Maa Saa had earlier left Pushkar to live with her family in a remote village. While viewers were wondering as to why Maa Sa returned to the Rajasthan town, it had been revealed in recent episodes that the unfortunate death of Om's wife forced the family to return to Pushkar.
However, viewers are unaware of the fact that Maa Sa and her family entered the Rathi family with a cruel intention. "Maa Sa will soon be seen entering the Rathi family, with a purpose in mind. She will be accompanied by her two granddaughters and a grandson. The track will draw out lot many hidden skeletons that will shake the Rathi family," the source had told Tellychakkar.com.
Meanwhile, Emiley (Pooja Singh), who believes she is indirectly responsible for the death of Om's wife has decided to marry Om in order to rectify her mistake. Emiley's sudden decision has already created a lot of troubles in the Rathi family.
