After garnering positive response for "King Liar," director Siddique has again roped in Dileep for his upcoming comedy entertainer.
Dileep is said to be playing the role of a stubborn hotel management student named Priyaranjan, who is also a part-time worker. "He is quite obstinate by nature and hold grudges against people for life, even for minor confrontations. It's not in his nature to reach a compromise," Siddique says about Dileep's character, according to the Times of India. The other cast and crew of the film will be finalised in the coming months as the movie is expected to go on floors only by next year.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker will soon start working on his next with Jayasurya in the lead role. The actor had recently announced that he would be a part of the upcoming Siddique directorial, which will be the first production venture of the director's production company.
"One of my biggest dreams was to be part of Siddique-Lal movie. Finally, God gave me a chance to work with them, may be after he was fed up with my prayers. I have committed a Siddique movie, which will be the first movie of his production banner. Soon after I came back home, I received a call from director Lal, asking where I am. When I told him I am at home, he disconnected the call saying he will visit me soon. That's when he told me the story of his upcoming film, written by Sachy. So, the same day, I have committed two projects by Siddique and Lal (translated)," Jayasurya had written on his Facebook page on April 23.
Jayasurya will reportedly be seen as an orphan named Lucky, who is an engineering drop out. He is also a kleptomaniac (a person with an urge to steal things), who returns the stolen items to the owners at a later point. The untitled movie is expected to go on floors in Kannur and Mangalore by September.
