Ram Charan's "Yevadu" has earned ₹35 crore share in 11 days at the Andhra Pradesh box office.
"Yevadu", a revenge drama directed by Vamsi Paidipally, has turned out to be a big hit in Ram Charan's career. The film has managed to sustain its business even in the second week, thanks to no big Telugu releases. The Ram Charan starrer is expected to have a good second week and successfully enter into the third week of theatrical run.
It remains to be seen as to how the film fares in the coming days as a few new films are hitting the screens. Actor Sumanth's romantic comedy entertainer "Emo Gurram Egaravachu" and Salman Khan's Hindi film "Jai Ho" are releasing on 24 January. Moreover, big films including "Pandavalu Pandavalu Thummeda" and "Heart Attack" are set to release next week. "Yevadu" screen count might be decreased in the wake of new releases and this could affect the film's collections.
On the other hand, Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine" collections are continuing to drop. The film reportedly fetched poor collections after its 12-day theatrical run. The psychological thriller is expected to be moved out of theatres soon and it might complete its full run with an estimated amount of ₹28-30 crore (share) at the worldwide box office, reported Gulte.
"1 Nenokkadine", made on a budget of over ₹60 crore, was expected to break "Attarintiki Daredi" record at the box office. But the film failed to live up to its expectations and its collections are not encouraging.
Mahesh Babu has shifted his focus on his next film "Aagadu." Directed by Srinu Vaitla, "Aagadu" is touted to be an action-comedy entertainer. This is the second time that the actor-director duo has teamed up post the success of 2011-blockbuster flick "Dookudu."
Vaitla is confident that "Aagadu" will be a bigger hit than "Dookudu." The film's shooting is going on a brisk pace and it is expected to be released in July or August.
