Dharma Productions family drama's "Kapoor and Sons" continues its victory march at the worldwide box office. The new releases and cricket match has not affected the box office run of Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt-starrer "Kapoor and Sons."
The film has done phenomenal run in India and in the international markets. The family drama minted Rs 59.02 crore from the domestic box office and Rs 35.65 crore from the overseas box office, which is the highest of 2016, until now.

Total: ₹ 59.02 cr. India biz. Should touch ₹ 75 cr, as per current trends. #KapoorAndSons remained STRONG, despite new films + crucial cricket match on Sun. Collected ₹ 12.09 cr in Weekend 2. Total: ₹ 59.02 cr."
"Kapoor and Sons" has grossed Rs 120 crore (gross domestic income is Rs 84.31 crore) from the worldwide box office by its second weekend and is now the third highest grosser of 2016. The Fawad and Sidharth-starrer is now inching towards Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic box office and since the movie is holding well in India it should touch the mark by its third weekend.
On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor's "Neerja" is also continuing its run in India. After five weeks, the film has taken its net box office collection to Rs 75.21 crore.
