Small budget film "Hate Story 3" is inching towards Rs 50 crore mark. The erotic thriller has turned out to be one of the most successful films of 2015.
"Hate Story 3" completed its first week at the domestic box office on a good note. Though the collection dropped heavily during weekdays, the film managed to put a decent show in its first week.
The first-week box office collection of "Hate Story 3" is Rs 42.20 crore.
"#HateStory3 Fri 9.72 cr, Sat 8.05 cr, Sun 9.05 cr, Mon 4.40 cr, Tue 3.95 cr, Wed 3.75 cr, Thu 3.28 cr. Total: ₹ 42.20 cr. India biz. SUPER!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the day-wise figure of the film.
The first-week box office collection of "Hate Story 3" is the 15th highest of this year. After a decent first week, the film is now aiming to cross Rs 50 crore. "Hate Story 3" should cross the half-century mark at the domestic box office by its second weekend.
Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film features Zarine Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah in the lead roles.
On the other hand, "Tamasha" has completed two-weeks at the domestic box office. After two-weeks, "Tamasha" has earned approximately Rs 65 crore from theaters in India.
The film will continue to mint money in its third week, but on a limited note. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.
