The makers of the upcoming Biju Menon-starrer "Marubhoomiyile Aana" have released its first-look poster Thursday, April 7. The poster features Biju as an Arab, with an eagle perched on his hand.
"Marubhoomiyile Aana", based on the life of a Keralite and a sheikh, also stars Samskruthy Shenoy, Krishna Sankar, Sanoosha and Saju Navodaya in main roles. It has been directed by VK Prakash and written by YV Rajesh. The movie is the production venture of David Kachappilly. His son Ajay David Kachappilly has handled the cinematography, while music has been composed by Ratheesh Vega.
The makers of the film were in news a few weeks back for all the wrong reasons when the video of a tiger roaming through Doha express highway went viral on social media. After several international media agencies carried the news, the "Marubhoomiyile Aana" producers had to come forward and clarify that the animal was brought there for the film's shoot. The big cat had escaped from its cage when it was being taken to the shooting site and started walking through the busy road, they explained. The team had to pay a huge fine for not handling the animal properly.
"The video featuring a tiger appeared at Doha Express highway has gone viral on the internet and the truth is that the tiger was brought there for the shoot of film Marubhoomiyile Aana and had to pay a big penalty for the incident (sic)," the makers had posted on the Facebook page of the movie.
