A 12-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by six boys in Bihar's Madhubani district on Sunday. The minor has been been admitted to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition, ANI reported.

This is the second such incident reported from the district in over a month. An 11-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two men in a village in the district on 20 July. Mohammad Sadiq and Mohammad Israel allegedly lured the girl who was playing outside her house, to nearby bushes, where they took turns to rape her. They fled from the scene by the time villagers reached there hearing the girl's screams.
"Hearing the cries of the girl, villagers rushed to the scene, but by that time the culprits had fled the spot," PTI had quoted Phulparas DSP Kishore Kumar as saying.
An FIR was registered against the two accused.
