One AC coach of Barmer-Guwahati Express train derailed after hitting a tractor trolley near Kamarpur Halt in Bihar's Buxar district.
No casualty was reported after the accident, according to PTI report.
The accident took place when the tractor-trolley was stuck on the track that was being leveled with soil, Danapur Division's DRM RK Jha said. The B-1 coach derailed after the train collided with the tractor, which was empty.
Several trains on the Danapur-Mughalsarai route were delayed as the accident disrupted the line. The Indian Railways have resumed the service on the down line, rescue operation is said to be underway on the up line.
Earlier, an ANI report had said at least one person was injured after two coaches of the train derailed. "Two coaches of Guwahati-Bikaner express train derail after collision with a tractor near Chausa(Bihar). 1 injured, (sic)" ANI tweeted.
