Kiccha Sudeep seems to have earned the tag of 'Salman Khan of Sandalwood', with a never-before deal coming his way to host the upcoming seasons of "Bigg Boss" Kannada.
The Kannada superstar had hosted the first two editions of "Bigg Boss" Kannada. While the first season was aired on ETV, the second season changed hands with Suvarna Entertainment broadcasting the reality show.
Both the seasons became hits on Kannada small screen and took Sudeep's popularity to new heights. Now, the actor has been approached to host the show again and has been offered a never-heard-remuneration in Sandalwood to anchor the show.
As per a report published in The Times of India, Sudeep has signed a Rs 20-crore deal with Colours Kannada to host the next five seasons. The amount is said to be a new record.
The fancy paycheck received by Sudeep clearly indicates that the Kannada superstar's brand value matches that of Salman Khan, who hosted a couple of seasons "Bigg Boss" in Hindi.
Meanwhile, preparations seem to be gathering pace for the third season of "Bigg Boss" Kannada. The show is expected to take off later this year. The team is reportedly looking out for contestants from different walks of life.
Sudeep has to complete his multilingual movie with KS Ravikumar before taking up the "Bigg Boss" Kannada assignment. It will keep him busy for the next few months.
Coming back to "Bigg Boss" Kannada, the winner of the first season was actor Vijay Raghavendra while the multifaceted Arun Sagar was second. Television personalities Akul Balaji and Srujan Lokesh were winner and runner-up in the second season.
