Easily the most popular contestant of "Bigg Boss 8", Gautam Gulati turns 27 today (according to Colors' official website) and will be celebrating it in the house.
According to a Bollywood Life report, the contestant has a few more accolades to his credit than what is known, and a few lesser known facts about his life have been listed.
First up, "Diya aur Baati Hum" is not the only claim to fame for this actor. He featured in Rakesh Mehta's short film "Darpok", which was screened at the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival. He essayed the role of a troubled 28-year-old, who was traumatised after being unable to save his mother from being raped.
Another interesting fact about the charming actor is that he has been a part of Sri Lankan blockbuster "Siddhartha-The Buddha", in which he played the role of Devadutta. The Delhi boy, who rose to fame after featuring in popular daily soaps, has been a Shamak Davar student.
With his inimitable wit, this "BB8" contestant has created a strong fan base for himself, and on the occasion of his 27th birthday, the actor's team has organised a quiz about him. "#IKnowAllAboutGautam quiz contest is all about recognizing the #GautamGulati followers love for GG. Lets participate," the team tweeted. This apart, social media is abuzz with wishes for the good-looking actor.
Gautam, who until a week ago was hated by most housemates, has finally managed to win hearts with his antiques. Diandra Soares, who used to be a good friend of his, peeled away after the chilli powder episode with Karishma Tanna. But, things have changed now. The two are often spotted having a good time laughing and sharing gossip about the house.
However, viewers have not approved of their friendship and some have also opined that the two are using one another to survive the show. So, how genuine is this 'special' bond? Only time will tell.
