"Better Call Saul," the critically-acclaimed Emmy award-nominated series, which is a spin-off of "Breaking Bad," is all set to premiere its Season 2 in India on Tuesday night. The new season of the very popular American drama series premiered in the US on AMC on Feb. 15, 2016, and it looks like fans in India will not have to wait too long for its debut here as Colors Infinity airs the instant premiere of this latest season on Feb.16, 2016.
"Better Call Saul" Season 2 continues to trace Jimmy's evolution from a small-time lawyer to smooth-talking manipulator Saul Goodman with a whole new set of twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
While Season 1 of "Better Call Saul" explained why the con artist became a lawyer, Season 2 will focus on how it all happened.
The synopsis of Episode 1, "Switch", reads: "Jimmy and Kim's relationship takes a new turn. Mike decides it's for the best to sever his affiliation with an unrestrained associate."
Season 2 Episode 1 of the show received some good reviews.
Den of Greek: The fact that this show exists is an absolute treat. Is it as compelling as its predecessor? Not really, but how many shows could reasonably be expected to be? Better Call Saul is intelligent, entertaining and beautifully made television, created by masters of their craft at the top of their game.
IGN: "Switch" marks a solid return for Better Call Saul as we begin to see the "how" of Jimmy's transition into Saul Goodman be explored. Just because Jimmy agreed to take the Davis and Main job offer doesn't mean he's given up his life of rule-breaking, and the fact he's moved out from under his brother Chuck's shadows means the shackles are off when it comes to Jimmy discovering his own identity."
Indiewire: "Switch" is ultimately a quiet episode that lays a lot of track for weeks to come, but while it doesn't shout, there are so many lovely moments to consider, especially when it comes to Kim and Jimmy. Was that their first kiss? Their first time together? "Saul" doesn't specify, but it doesn't have to. What matters is that there's a new energy to the journey because now Jimmy has someone he cares about — and someone to lose."
"Better Call Saul" Season 2 premieres in India on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at 11 p.m. on Colors Infinity.
