Asiavision movie awards 2015: 'Ennu Ninte Moideen', 'Pathemari, 'Premam' win maximum awards [Complete list of winners]

The winners of the Asiavision film awards 2015 were announced on Wednesday, 18 November.

Prithviraj Sukumaran's "Ennu Ninte Moideen" has bagged the maximum number of awards, under nine different categories, including best film, best director, best actor in supporting role, best cinematography and best screenplay. 

The lead actors of the film -- Prithviraj and Parvathy -- who portrayed the roles of real life lovers BP Moideen and Kanchanamala, have been selected as the best actor and actress, respectively.

Director Salim Ahamed's "Pathemari" with Mammootty in the lead, has been selected as the best movie on social welfare and best critically acclaimed movie. Nadirshah's directorial debut "Amar Akbar Anthony" is the best entertainer of the year.

Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul have been selected as the man of the year and outstanding performer of the year, respectively.

Nivin's blockbuster film "Premam" has bagged the popular movie award and Sai Pallavi, who played the female lead role in the Alphonse Puthren directorial, has shared the sensational actors of the year award with Neeraj Madhav for his performance in  various films.

Considering their contribution to the entertainment industry, Dr KJ Yesudas, Nedumudi Venu, Shyam Benegal and KG George have won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 10th edition of the award ceremony will be held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on 2 December in the presence of leading actors of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema.  

The event will see the performances of Taaha Shah, Shamna Kasim, Poonam Bajwa, D4Dance fame Ramzan, Dilsha, Saniya, Ramesh Pisharody, Manoj Guinnes, Dharmajan, Stephen Devassy, Afsal, Sajla, Saleel, Sangeetha and Ranjini Haridas will be hosting the show.
