Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is expected to reunite with his "Jodha Akbar" director Ashutosh Gowariker for another project.
Much like the duo's former association, the future film is also expected to be another period drama with Indus Valley civilization as its setting. The plot however, would revolve round a predominant love story.
The "Krrish 3" actor is said to have met Gowariker recently in Delhi discussing the project.
"Gowariker has finished the pre-production work now and has started casting actors for the film. Hrithik Roshan recently met with him at a hotel in Delhi. They were seen chatting for a few hours; it was probably about his upcoming project," a source informed Mid Day.
Gowariker's project with Roshan has been in news for quite some time now. But the actor's hectic schedule has kept the project on hold and in September last year reports of Roshan being replaced by Sushant Singh Rajput also surfaced.
Reports of the replacement had emerged soon after the "Shuddh Desi Romance" actor substituted Roshan in Shekhar Kapur's A-list project "Paani" earlier.
But with the recent Gowariker and Roshan meeting, it appears that the actor is very much a part of the "Lagaan" director's upcoming period film dispelling the rumours of replacement.
And after the 39-year-old wraps up Siddharth Anand's "Bang Bang" schedule, it is quite possible that the actor may allot dates to the director.
Meanwhile, acclaimed cinematographer Karl Walter Lindenlaub who has worked in Hollywood projects like "Independence Day", "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", "The Jackal", and "The Haunting" has been signed on board to film the Indus Valley Civilization for the movie, reported the tabloid.
