The first look teaser of Allu Arjun's upcoming film "Race Gurram" has been released.
The 10-second video was released on the eve of director Surender Reddy's birthday, which happens to be on 7 December (Saturday). Allu Arjun looks stylish in the teaser, which has background score by Thaman.
The video, which was launched on the night of 6th December, has received good response from fans. Within hours of its launch, the teaser has got more than 20,000 views. To watch the video, click HERE.
"Race Gurram" is touted to be a full-fledged family entertainer. Shruti Haasan plays the female lead for the first time in Allu Arjun film. The other cast members include Shaam, Saloni Aswani, Prakash Raj, Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Rishi, Ashish Vidyarthi and Kota Srinivasa Rao.
The film's shooting is progressing at a brisk pace and the entire shoot is expected to get completed soon. "They are planning to shoot a chase scene with Allu Arjun, Saloni and other artistes in Hyderabad. After that, the unit may shift to Kumbakonam to film a few key scenes," a source close to the unit told Deccan Chronicle.
Earlier, it was reported that "Race Gurram" will hit the screens for Sankranti next year. Fans were expecting fireworks during the festival period as four big films - "Race Gurram", Mahesh Babu's "1-Nenokkadine", Ram Charan's "Yevadu" and Nithiin's "Heart Attack" - were heading for a big clash at the box office.
Apparently, "Race Gurram" will not hit the screens in January. According to reports, the film's unit needs at least two months to complete the shooting as well as other aspects of the Allu Arjun starrer. The film will reportedly be hitting theatres in February.
"Race Gurram" is said to be made on a budget of ₹45 crore. The stylish entertainer is produced by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. The film's cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing is done by Goutham Raju.
