Vidiyum Munn, starring Pooja of "Naan Kadavul" fame, has won positive reviews from critics.
The Tamil thriller flick has been directed by debutant Balaji K. Kumar. The plot revolves around two women - commercial sex worker Rekha (Pooja) and 12-year-old-girl Nandini (Malavika). Rekha tries to save Nandhini from child prostitution. They flee by boarding a train to escape from the clutches four men who are desperate to hunt them down for various reasons.
"Vidiyum Munn" has been termed as a well-made thriller film that grips the audience attention. Critics have appreciated the performances of the lead actors - Pooja and Malavika. The film's other cast members include Vinod Kishan, John Vijay, Amarendran and Lakshmy Ramakrishnan.
