Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer "Chennai Express" has crossed ₹200 crore milestone at worldwide box office in the first week. The family entertainer has smashed all records in the international market after earning ₹72 crore ($11, 667,477) in just nine days, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The overseas and domestic collection of "Chennai Express" stands at ₹228.70 crore (₹156.70 crore + ₹72 crore).

In international market, "Chennai Express" had the highest first week collection ever. With this, the film has entered the top five highest grosser films at overseas box office. The collection chart is dominated by Shah Rukh with seven films.
Aamir Khan's 2009 film, "3 Idiots" tops the list with $25,000,000, followed by SRK's 2010 film, "My Name is Khan" with $23,000,000, and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" with $13,540,000. SRK's 2011 released "Don 2" is at the fourth spot in the chart with $11,750,000.
"Chennai Express" has also smashed records in Indian market. The film managed to earn the production cost from the first week domestic box office collections. It minted ₹156.7 crore in the first week itself.
