"Greeku Veerudu", which was released on 3 May, has opened to a good response worldwide. Nagarjuna - who was seen taking up roles in different film genres over the last few years including socio fantasy, historical drama and religious movies - is back with a family entertainer this time. Directed by Dasarath, "Greeku Veerudu" is about family bonding, love and relationships.
Nagarjuna has teamed up with the director after a span of 10 years when the first movie in their combination ("Santosham") was released. "Santosham", which is also a family entertainer, was a box office success. The successful combo of Nagarjuna and Dasaradh is back again with yet another family subject.
Currently, there are no big Telugu films releasing for at least one week. "Greeku Veeruku", which has received moderate reviews, is expected to do well at the box office. Actress Nayantara has teamed up with Nagarjuna for the second time after 2006 release "Boss".
The rest of the film's star cast includes Meera Chopra, M S Narayana, K Vishwanath, Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Ashish Vidyarthi.
