Prabhu Deva starrer "ABCD: Any Body Can Dance" has set the cash registers ringing in its second week. The film remained unaffected with the release of "Murder 3" and collected approximately ₹13.5 crore in in India.
The film had performed well in the south region especially in Mumbai and Mysore circuits. The grand total of the film at domestic box office after the second week stands at approximately ₹45.5 crore.
Considering the cast of the film, Remo D'Souza's directorial film performed exceptionally well in India. The new film "Murder 3" was expected to affect the collections of "ABCD" in the second week, but failed to do so.
Randeep Hooda starrer "Murder 3" has ended its first week on a bad note and didn't do well over the weekend or during the weekdays.
The third installment film in the "Murder" series collected approximately ₹20.86 crore in the first week.
The first week breakup of the film is: Friday ₹4.52 crore, Saturday ₹4.01 crore, Sunday ₹4.78 crore, Monday ₹2.25 crore, Tuesday ₹2.05 crore, Wednesday ₹1.75 crore and Thursday ₹1.50 crore.
On the overseas front, the film collected around ₹2.02 crore taking the worldwide collection to ₹22.88 crore.
The film, made on a budget of ₹18 crore, has already recovered its production cost from worldwide collections and satellite and music rights.
The Vishesh Bhatt-directed film earned around ₹22 crore from collections and ₹15 crore from satellite and music rights.
Apart from Hooda, the film also features Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren in lead roles.
