Comedian-turned-TV host, Ali, who is known for his shows like "Ali 369" and "ATM", has made a grand comeback to the small screen with his brand new show "Ali Talkies", which went on air on the popular Telugu entertainment TV channel, Maa TV on 11 October.
Actor Naga Chaitanya and actress Pooja Hegde, who will be seen together in the upcoming Telugu movie "Oka Laila Kosam" (OLK) were the guests for the inaugural episode of the comedy show. The film is slated to release on 17 October
Ali is one of the most talented comedians of the Telugu film industry. He has carved a niche for himself with his unique body language and dialogue diction. The comedy actor, who has created a new set of audience for himself, has also done a couple of successful TV shows.
"Ali Talkies - No Ticket No Tagline", which is aired at 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday, is a comedy show, that is reportedly made on the lines of Colors' popular comedy show "Comedy Nights with Kapil". Besides offering fun to the audience, it also provides a platform for the Tollywood filmmakers to promote their upcoming movies and gives an opportunity for the viewers to meet their favourite stars and interact with them face to face.
Meanwhile, Chaitanya and Hegde had a great time on the first episode of "Ali Talkies" and even had a good rapport with their fans.
The duo's first combo movie "OLK" is touted to be a romance drama film, which has been written and directed by Vijay Kumar Konda and produced by Nagarjuna under his home banner Annapurna Studios. The film, which has Anoop Rubens' music, has been ready for the worldwide release, but the makers have postponed it several times due to the unavailability of enough number of screens.
