The teaser of Ajith-starrer "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie", the Telugu version of "Yennai Arindhaal," has been released.
The teaser gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the film, though it does not reveal much about the content. He goes on to say that the day had come when he had to decide on the choice of being a good man or a evil person. Finally, he utters "Yentha Vaadu Gaanie" ("Well, If You Know Me") and the teaser ends with that dialogue.
Ajith's voice, dialogues, visuals and the backgrounds score are the major highlights of the teaser. (Check video below)
The teaser of the Tamil version received grand response from the fans and even set new benchmarks in terms of audience liking. The video has fetched more than 65,000 likes, which is the highest ever for a South Indian film.
The Telugu teaser is all expected to get positive feedback considering that Ajith and the film's director Gautham Menon have a decent market in the Telugu-speaking states.
The action thriller is in the last leg of shooting and is likely to be wrapped up soon. The film will be releasing for Pongal 2015 and the Telugu version is also expected to be released during that period. However, there is no official confirmation regarding its release date.
The Gautham Menon directorial has Ajith in a cop's role, while Trisha and Anushka are the female leads. Arun Vijay is said to be playing the role of a baddie and will be sporting a six-pack abs.
"When director Gautham narrated my role to me, I realised it was a very strong one and decided that I must do my bit to deliver the best I could," Arun Vijay told The Times of India.
The actor has stated that Ajith encouraged him stating that he has a great body.
"Ajith sir is a health conscious person and he too has transformed himself for this role. He told me that I was lucky and that I had a great body," he told the daily.
This is the first time that Arun Vijay is doing a film with Ajith and director Gautham Menon. The film is carrying a lot of expectations, which has continuously been raised by the release of first-look posters and the teaser. The audio and the trailer of the film are also expected to be released soon.
