Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have lost the post pregnancy weight, but it still remains an issue for several people.
Though the actress managed to silence her critics with her Cannes appearance, the weight issue has refused to die down. However, now her "Jazbaa" director Sanjay Gupta has come out in support of her.
Gupta has signed Aishwarya Rai for his upcoming film "Jazbaa" and announced the same in May. But since then, he has been questioned whether the actress has lost her oddles of weight.
However, the director took to Twitter last week and shared one photo of the actress along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. He also said, "Here is a pic from today for all the retards that keep asking 'Has she lost weight?' every time I talk about JAZBAA."

The photo was taken on Saturday when she arrived in Jaipur with her daughter to attend the Kabaddi match of her husband Abhishek Bachchan's team Jaipur Pink Panthers.
Aishwarya has certainly lost her post pregnancy weight, which is evident from her remarkably slim avatar. She made headlines when she appeared at this year's Cannes Film Festival, and stunned onlookers with her slimmer and gorgeous look.
The whole weight gain controversy started in 2012, when she attended the 65th Cannes Film Festival in 2012. Almost six months after giving birth to her daughter, Aishwarya made her first public appearance at Cannes.
But she was compared to her contemporaries both in Hollywood and Bollywood and was criticised for not shedding her post pregnancy weight soon.
However, after two years the actress has gained her pre-pregnancy figure and she is now ready to rock the silver screen with her comeback film "Jazbaa" opposite John Abraham.
The film will go on floor early next year and the director will release the first look and teaser at Cannes 2015.
