Malayalam actor Dileep, who is currently working for Siddique-Lal's upcoming comedy entertainer "King Liar", will join the sets of "Welcome to Central Jail" by the second week of January.
As the name suggests, "Welcome to Central Jail" will be shot extensively in prison and after the commericially hit film "Runway" in 2004, Dileep will walk through Poojappura central jail in Thiruvananthapuram for the shooting of the upcoming film.
"Welcome to Central Jail", directed by Sundardas and scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam, is based on the lives of some prisoners and will be shot in the capital city of Kerala. A huge set of a prison has also been erected in Ernakulam.
The film also has Vedhika, Renji Panicker, Kailash, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Thesni Khan in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Dileep-starrer "King Liar", directed by Lal and scripted by Siddique, is expected to be a laugh riot as the duo has joined after a long time. They are known for their popular films "Ramji Rao Speaking", "In Harihar Nagar", "God Father", "Vietnam Colony" and "Kabooliwala".
"Premam"-fame Madonna will be seen opposite Dileep in "Ling Liar", which also includes Lal, Asha Sarath and Soubin Shahir of "Premam" fame in key roles.
Produced under the banner of Valakuzhi Films by Ouseppachan Valakuzhi, "King Liar" will reportedly release only next year.
