Ram Charan's "Yevadu" is gearing up for a big release on Sunday (12 January).
Sreenivasa Kumar (SKN), Mega family PRO, said that "Yevadu" will be releasing in up to 1200 screens worldwide. Despite the release of Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine", "Yevadu" makers have managed to book good number of theatres to screen the film.
Although the film is releasing on 12 January, a special premiere show of the film will be held for fans in Hyderabad's Sri Ramulu theatre at 9:30 p.m. today (11 January).
Expectations are high for "Yevadu" as the film stars Ram Charan in the main lead. Shruti Haasan, Amy Jackson, Brahmanandam, Sai Kumar, Rahul Dev, Ajay and Jayasudha have donned pivotal roles in the film. "Stylish Star" Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will be making cameo appearances in the film.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, "Yevadu" is deemed as an action-packed entertainer with all the commercial elements. According to Gulte, the Ram Charan starrer will have a lot of twists that will appeal to the audience. The film's trailers have also generated a lot of curiosity about the film's content and the roles played by Ram Charan and Allu Arjun.
Details about Ram Charan's character in the film are not known, while Allu Arjun seems to playing the role of a police officer. The actor will have a 10-minute presence, but it will be felt throughout the film, according to reports.
"Yevadu" is releasing two days after Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine" hit the screens. The Ram Charan starrer is expected to take a fantastic opening on the first day of its release. With "1 Nenokkadine" receiving mixed reviews (mostly negative), "Yevadu" is likely to open well in all territories.
However, only the content will help a film sustain its momentum at the box office. If "Yevadu" receives positive feedback, it is likely to do extraordinary business. But, if the film receives negative reports, it might hamper its prospects.
Trade experts and fans will be eager to find out if "Yevadu" performs better than "1 Nenokkadine" at the box office.
